My tutor and I use this app for virtual/remote tutoring sessions. The tutor also has the app and we share a collaborate whiteboard while on a phone call with each other!

the eraser didn’t work -it just drew more. i couldn’t use the app
This is pretty much what i was hoping to find - an infinite scrolling zooming rotating canvas with text image and freehand drawing. Will echo desire for Apple Pencil, and have no doubt the developer will deliver eventually. Wish it had stickers or skins so I could make cuter collaborations :)
This app does such a great job mimicking use of a whiteboard. I love the colors available and the line sizes, and how user friendly it is. The fatal flaw: I won't let me connect my Apple Pencil, so when I write on it, my palm constantly makes marks on my screen that I have to erase. It takes up extra time and I wish that it was fully comparable with apple iPads.
I love the free hand draw but my squares and circles just look a bit sloppy :-|
The panning around could be improved upon by incorporating something like three finger gesture where you can move around the canvas if you move it with three fingers instead of selecting the button
I want to write beautiful zoomable math, but all I get with my Apple Pencil is jagged lines.
I’ve become used to the wonderful Apple Pencil+IPad Pro combo and this app DOES NOT live up to those standards. The drawing with the pencil is choppy and clunky. All I wanted was an “infinite whiteboard” for tough math problems. This app as It stands currently is definitely a waste of my money.
Palm rejection does not work and marks due figure nails when still using apple pencil.
I don't know what I'd do without it! Although it does need an update for the iPad pro which I've been assured is coming.
Very useful for quickly sketching and sharing ideas with colleagues and friends. I am hoping that Apple will integrate this into their ‘Airdrop’ service (‘Airsketch’?).
Tried it for 30 minutes with a business partner. Big waste of time.
I love the capabilities of this app, but am very disappointed that it will not show on an external display. I want to use this in my science class for students to create drawings and diagrams but need to be able to model the app for the class. Please fix this!
I use this app heavily, because there's nothing else quite like it. If there was, I would switch in an instant. The app crashes constantly. Rooms corrupt and require the app to be deleted and reinstalled, which destroys access to the existing rooms. Syncing to the server is sporadic and unpredictable. If this worked it would be the single most useful tool I use for my job, teaching online. As it is, I search for a replacement daily.
The app could be "smoother" I hope the developers realize that if people pay this much for an app they expect it to improve over time. = Updates! Also, an in app audio chat would make this better. Pros: does what it says Nice design Simple Great for group work Cons: buggy and unresponsive at time Pricy Needs updating
Has potential, and some good ideas, but needs work. Looks good (including a catchy app icon), but lacks attention to functional details and is buggy. For example, text (which is tiny and not sizable) jumps around when editing and Internet sharing is unreliable (works most of the time, but not always). Only half the icons rotate properly and requires too many taps when drawing. It's not a bad app, and it does produce nice drawings, but for $8 it isn't reliable and easy-to-use. Best suited for sharing drawings or prototyping by a team, not so much for whiteboarding in meetings or classrooms.
It looks good but apparently when I am sharing with somebody on PC they could not participate in drawing - just watch. This is one major shortcoming as in collaborative sessions you could not expect everybody to have an iPad. Besides that it looks good.
The only problem is that Whenever the I zoom by pinching the screen (like the previous version) it immediately zooms all the way. If you keep on smooth ending the zooming capacity of this app, I will definitely recommend this app to my friends. I would also add that dragging and manipulating pictures is not that smooth either. Whenever I enlarge/move/rotate pictures, I have difficulty making symmetrical or straight arrangements. The results are usually messy or lopsided. Please fix these issues. I have been generous by rating this app with four stars,
Simple, easy to use with plenty of useful options, and really nice looking app.
Simple to use. Works well. Love the infinite zoom/pan. The upgrade is awesome. Usability is well thought out. Can now zoom/pan with 2 fingers. Undo is really handy.
Please add features like "quick undo" and "Two-fingers or three-fingers move canvas". Then this app will be perfect!
I've tried a lot of shared whiteboard apps, and this is the best one I've found. Any news on a Retina update for the new iPad? Two things that would make this app perfect: - Avoid the use of a special mode to move and zoom — using two fingers to pinch (for zoom) and drag (for panning) would make it much faster to work with. - Deleting parts of a drawing should be easier, the current rectangle select + randomly appearing trash can isn't exactly elegant. And; Undo is a must-have. :) Keep up the good work!
Very disappointed that syncing to Campfire does not work.
Simple but decent. I won't use until it allows for screen rotation so device can sit in landscape orientation and accept text. A simple fix.
If we would add photos - - from camera roll - from Dropbox - or take a phot while in the app this could be a in app purchase for this feature Lot of people would buy it. everyone at our work would !
For the price (FREE) this isn't a bad application to use for quick note taking, but there are other apps that have an UNDO feature and more integration with DropBox or Evernote. This one currently emails as PDF or allows you to send to Facebook, Twitter and Campfire (dunno what this is). I had it installed, but never used it. Played with it before deleting but didn't see any feature that would keep me using it
Nice: does what it says, tutorial is well done.
I wish I could turn it in landscape
An interesting app. Problem is that hand writing will not allow dotting of ' i ' or 'period' at end of sentence. Once this is fixed, would award 5 stars.
Drawing is good . But so far I cannot totally rely on it. Reasons: Every time after I zoom out, I cannot find what I wrote easily, especially when I wrote two more areas which is not close, then even if I use the home button, hardly locate properly. Still room for improvement!
My son has two homes. I help him with his math homework when he is at his mother's home. It would be nice for him to take a picture of a math problem, especially a graph or complicated problem, and use it as the background. Then, we can spend more time on marking it up instead of me trying to draw it from scratch.
This app looks like it would meet my classroom needs; however, when I go to collaborate online I'm informed that there is not yet a Win32 version. These are school computers, so I can't mess with them. Any ideas?
I only have one word for this Application : Great !!!
i can't use "Email sync link"?when i use it,it's get it off?
please release an universal version for both iPad and iphone, thx
This is a greet app and the campfire integration is well done. My wish list includes: - Multiple touch to pan/zoom and delete - Landscape / auto rotation - Dropbox support to save as image/PDF - Dropbox support to open/save native format - Windows / Mac app so you can show the shared whiteboard
This is the first app I've seen that does shared whiteboard well. This is a great way to collaborate. Needs a few more "just works the way you want it" features to be perfect. My list: it's still really hard to connect to somebody else, and involves sending an email to their iPad. I can't just call up and say "jump to board xc6972" and they're connected. Once connected, it's pretty good. Does need some sort of "follow" feature too so you can see (at the right zoom level and location) what somebody else is drawing. Bonus feature would be the ability to import your own backgrounds - drawing on a screenshot to explain what could change is a great use case, but now I'm going above and beyond :-). It would get 5 stars if it had any 2 of those three features.
Good app. Needs undo, ability to email, and ability to load a background but solid and smooth as offered.
Designing layouts and workflows with other people is so much easier with this app. It's awesome.
Or am I just missing it? Deleting manually is awkward.
This is exactly what I have been looking for. A really well done whiteboard-type app that I can use to collaborate with colleagues remotely in real time. The drawing is smooth and the zooming feature is really cool. I am very impressed with the quality of this app.
